THE
FOUNDER

A native of Aix-en-Provence, Catherine La Bruyère started her real estate career in the Hamptons, New York, before returning to France in the late 1990s and joining a major name in French luxury real estate market in Uzès. But it wasn’t until 2005 that she decided to set up her own company with Hervé de Maulmont. A lot of hard work and perseverance, and above all a great deal of rigour, have gone into developing the agency:

Visible for miles around, the town is dominated by the King’s tower, the Bishop’s tower and the Ducal tower, the three powers that ruled daily life in the middle ages. It was under Charles IX that the count of Crussol was raised to the dignity of duke in 1556, and granted in 1572, the prestigious title and position of first peer of France.

The ducal family has lived in the Duchy for over a thousand years, represented today by Jacques de Crussol, seventeenth Duke of Uzès.

The real symbol of the town is the Fenestrelle tower, a vestige from the 12th century, standing proudly…
